Take a look closer at the project
The Seed Project Craft Beer was created to tap into the work and experience of some women who live in the Brazilian Midwest region. Moeda formed a partnership with their association (Assesve, in Portuguese) to cultivate and pick Baru nuts, a native regional chestnut. In the first phase, the female leaders supported the creation of the beer using the baru nut as a raw material. In the second phase, we established a partnership with Dádiva brewery company to increase our production. The objective of this third phase is to expand our business plan – Moeda will set up new partnerships with cooperatives from other parts of Brazil to devise new recipes, get more product certifications and penetrate more markets.
