Seed Project: Sustainable Coffee

Brazil is the world's largest exporter of coffee. However, the role women play in this industry often goes unnoticed. The Seed Project: Sustainable Coffee seeks to support a group of women who work with coffee production in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The goal is to enhance the structures they have in place, provide training, and create a certification on sustainable coffee production. Invest now in this Seed Project and receive a 10% bonus in April 2019 and, over the course of a year, 1% of revenues from Cold Brew Coffee sales in accordance with the amount invested

Some women from the southern part of Minas Gerais, with the support of IWCA Brazil, produce high quality sustainable coffee but find it quite difficult to obtain a fair price for their labor. Moeda is going to invest US$ 13.000 to organize the management and training strategies of the group, help them create a certification on sustainable coffee production, form partnership with Café Américo, and become a co-brander of 1500 bottles of Cold Brew coffee. Investors in this project will lend support to these women, promote gender equality, and receive a 10% bonus in MDABRL in 6 months and receive a 10% bonus in MDABRL in 6 months and, over the course of a year, 1% of revenues from Cold Brew Coffee sales in accordance with the amount invested.
